Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Reif
Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Reif is a full professor of Software Engineering at the University of Augsburg, where he serves as Director of the Institute for Software & Systems Engineering. His research lies in the realm of software and systems engineering, robotics and automation, artificial intelligence, safety and security, self-organizing and self-adaptive systems, as well as formal methods such as modeling and verification. His research projects span both fundamental and applied research, with application areas including automotive, avionics, space, robotics, mechatronic systems, transportation, healthcare, and mobile computing security protocols. Prof. Reif earned his diploma and doctoral degrees in Computer Science from the University of Karlsruhe. From 1994 to 1999, he was a Professor for Software Engineering at the University of Ulm, before joining the University of Augsburg in 2000 as a Professor for Software Engineering. He is an active member of the AI Production Network research institute in Augsburg.

Dr. Michael Göller is an AI researcher and entrepreneur with a background in mobile robotics and artificial intelligence. As a co-founder NISAR, he is dedicated to advancing the efficiency of software engineering and industrial processes through AI-driven solutions, with a particular emphasis on multi-agent systems. By leveraging AI methods such as Generative AI, large language models, and knowledge graphs, NISAR enables state-of-the-art data integration, while moderator agents facilitate natural language interactions. Committed to fostering interdisciplinary knowledge exchange, he is an active speaker and co-initiator of the “Better Together – Community.Smartest.Industries” initiative.
